+ What type of AV equipment can Eliot Center provide for my event?

Eliot Center is located a few blocks South of the downtown shopping hub and, as such, enjoys relatively easy guest parking. Metered street parking is usually plentiful and there are two street-level parking lots adjacent to Eliot Center, as well as an additional lot two blocks away. The parking lot located directly across from the entrance to the Buchan Building at 1226 SW Salmon Street has 80 parking spaces and the lot located directly across from Eliot Chapel, between Salmon Street and Main Street, has 115 parking spaces. Renting the parking lot is possible, please ask the Community Events Manager for more details.

+ What type of A/V Equipment can Eliot Center Provide for my Event?

Eliot Center is equipped with wifi throughout the buildings with a 20 MG upload and download speed - all on the same SSID. The wifi is password protected, the password will be given to you after your event is booked.

We have built-in projectors and screens in the Eliot Chapel, Main Sanctuary, and Buchan Reception Hall. Room A108 and Fuller Hall have built-in screens but we use an A/V cart with a projector in those rooms. We have four additional pop-up screens and a total of four A/V carts. So, seven rooms total can be outfitted with both a screen and projector from our inventory. If you need screens and projectors in more than seven rooms, Eliot Center might be able to help or please plan to bring additional equipment.

Each A/V cart is equipped with: MacBook Air, Wireless handheld mic and wireless lapel mic plus two XLR ports for additional mics, One small mixer, Short-throw Projector, USBC to HDMI adaptor, DisplayPort adapter, 8 inch XLR adaptor, Lightning iphone to headphone adaptor, One small speaker,

+ Is livestreaming my event a possibility?

We use Boxcast. Events held in the Main Sanctuary and Eliot Chapel can be livestreamed. Talk to the our Event Coordinator for more information.

+ What is ACCESSIBILITY like at Eliot Center?

We are ADA compliant, but the building is hard to navigate.
